best place to rent a cabin

My husband and I our looking for a reasonable cabin with a hot tub to stay in for the 20th of July for our anniversary. I sure would like your help thanks

There are alot of great places to stay near the park,not in it-unless camping.Try the area towards Bryson City,not around Cherokee because that area is too crowded.There is an area near Bryson City called the "Nantahala Gorge."There are a ton of cabins and mountain retreat type houses in that area.There are alot of streams nearby and also Fontana Lake and the Nantahala River is right there.Alot of the rafting companies in that area have places for rent.Call the Bryson City or Swain County Chamber Of Commerce and they will send you info or give you some names.If you go,eat breakfast or lunch at the Nantahala Outdoor center-it is yummy.

Maggie Valley has a lot of cabins for rent. Many with hot tubs. It is only a couple of miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 12 miles to the park. Weekends can be crowded but weekdays are very nice.

If you are looking for something quiet I would recommend looking in Townsend, TN. We have stayed there the past three years and love it.

If your stay is going to be on the west (Tennessee) side of the park I also recommend checking in the Townsend area, the cabins here generally rent for less money than those in places like Wears Valley .... there are many nice options.

I recommend Townsend also or somewhere in Wears Valley. The cabins in Wears Valley as already mentioned are usually more expensive.

I recommend River Bluff Cabins in the Smokies Ms. Billie Pass is a very sweet lady and will help you in any way that she can.
