Otters at Abrams Falls

Post by smokies_hiker on Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:41 pm

Saw three otters at Abrams Falls yesterday just after noon. They swam up from the lower part of the pool, bobbing up and down like dolphins in the ocean. Then they turned and made their way over to the far side and scrambled up the rocks. Never saw otters before in the park; it was a real treat!

That is a real treat. I knew the park has them but I've never seen any.
